LECTURES
Our lectures and workshops are led by instructors from the Ethiopian community, who are connected to the values and traditions of Ethiopian Jewry. The nature and activities of the workshops are tailored to the group and the target audience and can be suited to all sorts of groups across Israel and varied populations. There is also a specialized program geared toward the younger generation of the Ethiopian community.
Personal life stories and stories of their Aliya (immigration) to Israel. The storytellers are immigrants who experienced life in Ethiopia, felt the hardship of the journey, walked by foot and experienced the suffering of the journey until they reached the land of Israel.

The Holiday of Sigd
Lecture and discussion on the origins and meaning of Sigd Day, personal account of Sigd Day in Ethiopia, enrichment activities on the customs of the holiday and how it is celebrated today and in the past.
